Simple but very well maintained... read more with a lovely bar for residents. Amazing views at breakfast of the rock tombs. Delicious healthy breakfast, excellent bar, lots of shady trees, swimming in the river is wonderful. Tea and cake daily at 5pm. Professional staff, tranquil and relaxed atmosphere. Own private jetty for river boats. Cats and kittens.

As you walk out of the room, the smell of... read more jasmine and linden trees greet you as you walk to the dining area by the water, right across from the Caunos graves, that are lit at night. We have just returned from a week's stay at Lindos Pension in Dalyan. This is a place we have been visiting for over 20 years, which should give an indication... read more of how happy we are with what is offered. Lindos is set around a lovely garden, beyond which is a terrace opening onto the river. The rock tombs of Kaunos are visible directly across the water. It is a small heaven. The accommodation is simple, but clean and good. The rooms have air conditioning, comfortable beds and good showers. The terrace has lots of seating areas with plenty of shade if wanted. It is a place for relaxing and watching the world drift by. It is also where in the morning we sit to eat the generous Turkish breakfasts provided. The river is wonderful for swimming in, at times accompanied by turtles who pop their heads up and then disappear.
The quiet beauty of the spot evokes a feeling of peace and wellbeing, as does the care Lindos’ owner Levent, takes of each of his guests. He is always available to help with queries, to book boats or Haman massages, or other trips, as required. Many of his customers return year after year, as do we. We think this is a testimony to just how special it is. More

We have just returned from our holiday in Turkey and we spent the first half at Lindos Pension. I have been to Dalayan many times over the past 18... read more years and my preferred location is on the banks of the river. This is my first stay at Lindos and we were very glad to have booked Lindos. The Pension is run by a lovely family and they create a relaxed and welcoming environment. One of the great things about staying here is the ease of stepping off the jetty at the end of the garden onto the Dolmus boat to the beach. The garden itself is a very relaxing area and swimming in the river beats any hotel swimming pool. Next time I stay I will try to get one of the larger rooms as our room was a little small for my husband and I as we always bring a lot of luggage (!), but we will definitely be back.

The only downside to Lindos Pension is that you eventually have to leave. The rooms are always clean, the bar area is very comforting and comfortable, and the river front... read more view is one of the best in Dalyan. Ideal for couples or families. They serve a very nice Turkish breakfast, and although they don’t serve food at other times or the day they do partner with some local restaurants who will deliver food that the staff will serve to you at the river front.

We stayed for 2 nights and specifically wanted an accommodation that offered those stunning tomb views directly from the river and the location and view is the major selling point... read more of this place. It’s a very relaxing setting and so picturesque. I loved that you could get picked up and dropped off by the public boat from the hotel jetty. The gardens are lovely, it’s an easy walk into town, the owners and staff were friendly and welcoming, I loved that they served complimentary tea and cake in the afternoons if you were around the sun deck area, breakfast was adequate and started you off well for the day, again lovely setting to sit and drink your morning coffee with a view of the tombs, but for us the room let it down. We had an upstairs room with a view of the river and large balcony, but I felt like we were staying in someone’s wooden Wendy house. The room was just so small and cramped. If you were one person I feel it would be better, but with two suitcases and some hand luggage it was a struggle. A big chunk of the room was taken up by a large noisy fridge and we could only find one plug socket. We were only there for two nights, but had it been a longer stay and the weather any warmer I feel it would have made things a bit difficult. We also found the room to be not as clean as we would have wished as the little carpets looked like they could have done with a wash or vacuum and one morning we woke up to a tiny pile of saw dust on the floor. Upon looking up we could see a tiny hole in the wooden ceiling were more dust fell out. I’m not entirely sure what it was, but wondered at some sort of wood beetle. The views and welcome here are priceless but for us the room was the let down.

Booked for fifteen nights stayed five. Setting is fabulous on the dalyan river. Watched the turtle's pop their heads up for air whilst admiring the rock tombs in the background... read more . Breakfast was also nice. We had paid for a larger room at £60 a night with a balcony. The room we got was basic with worn furniture and two beds. The shower flooded the room every time it was used. Towels old and grey. Electrical sockets hung off the wall. No kettle or any basic amenities except a small fridge. Hostel rather than bed and breakfast or hotel . Due to COVID19 the manager refused to offer room cleaning and gave me a mop, bucket and cloth. I cleaned it once before finding out that COVID19 was his excuse. Every other establishment in Dalyan had room cleaning, fresh towels etc. The outside toilets were also closed due to COVID19, as was using the canoe. Again, another excuse. The manager simply couldn't be bothered. After an evening out we attempted to buy a drink from the bar. Nope, lights out with the manager opting to spend his time next door drinking raki. So much for social distancing eh. The manager was not attentive and made little attempt to make us welcome or give any advice , history etc about the beautiful area we had come to stay. After breakfast he instead chooses to go on bike rides with his friends.... Booked for fifteen nights stayed five. Setting is fabulous on the dalyan river. No snacks at lunch offered on the premises. Thus, after breakfast that was our lot he was off!
Despite his COVID19 concerns he never once washed the sunbeds or cleaned the decking. Aftee five days of this we moved to another establishment two minutes away as we could stand no more. More

First trip to Turkey. We went with family to celebrate a 30th Wedding Anniversary. Lindos Pension is in a fantastic location. Right on the river and only a 5 minute... read more walk to town. Levent and his team stopped at nothing to make our trip fabulous. Turtle Beach is a 30-40 minute boat ride away and you are going to love the journey. The boats wind there way through reed beds, navigating the delta to reach Turtle Beach for 20TL return per person. Boats can pick you up directly from the Lindos or take them from town. The beach has a bar and does light snacks. Dalyan and the surrounding area can offer you many things including; bathing in hot springs, wallowing in mud baths, visits to ancient ruins (Kaunos is very good), Hammam Turkish baths or the opportunity to just relax and read a book. I can highly recommend Lindos Pension and we will be returning.
